Our stairs are suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces, and we manufacture staircases ranging from just a few steps to several meters. The spiral staircase consists of various modular components, such as different steps and railings. Thanks to modularity, some components are stock items, allowing us to serve our customers faster and better. We design the stairs taking into account the specific characteristics of the location and ensure that the result is a guaranteed functional, easily installable entity.

The railing is the most visible part of a spiral staircase. Our selection includes three different standard railings. Explore the range and compare the options!

LK-Universal Railing // K-MOD

The LK-Universal Railing works everywhere

The universal railing is a child-safe railing suitable for all locations, both indoors and outdoors. Choose the universal railing when you want a quick and cost-effective spiral staircase.

  • Lightweight structure
  • Common applications: Emergency exit, secondary exit, terraces
  • Model KMOD-A when the spacing between railing posts is less than 350mm
  • Model KMOD-B when the spacing between railing posts is more than 350mm
  • Handrail is angular
  • Surface treatment: Hot-dip galvanizing or painting with RAL color chart shades
  • Spacing between balusters always less than 100mm
  • Stock products: Railing height 1000 or 1200mm

LK-Industrial Railing // T-MOD

For industrial applications

Cost-effective railing for industrial sites. The railing can be supplied with one to four intermediate rails.

  • Common applications: industrial, maintenance stairs, locations with no child access
  • Meets the standard SFS-EN ISO 14122-3
  • Handrail is angular
  • Surface treatment: Hot-dip galvanizing or painting with RAL color chart shades
  • Stock products: Railing height 1000mm

Custom-made tailored railing

The welded bar railing is an elegant railing for demanding applications. The railing is manufactured on a per-order basis. Premium quality for welded bar railings!

Handrails

The handrail always goes over the railing. All railing models can also be equipped with additional or interior handrails according to the requirements of the site.

LK-Additional Handrail, prioritizing safety for the smallest users

All our spiral staircase railing models can be equipped with an additional handrail, which is attached to the railing at the desired height, usually installed at a height of 900mm from the step surface. It facilitates the movement of smaller users on the stairs.

Grating tread 34x76

Gets the job done reliably

Classic! The grating tread gets the job done reliably and without issues all year round. The tread is made of anti-slip grating, so slipping is not a concern even in the harshest weather conditions.

For more frequent use

A tread made of denser grating with small openings. Choose this when you need a grating tread through which items or high heels cannot pass.

Hot-dip galvanized tear plate tread withstands stress for decades tirelessly. Do not use outdoors, the tread is slippery in winter!

Customize to your liking

The plate tread offers versatility. You define the depth of the tread, and we manufacture it. After that, you can cover the tread with the material of your choice.

  • Recommended for indoor use

  • Standard sizes: 600-1600mm
  • The tread can be supplied with a recess so that it can be covered with materials such as carpet, wood, or tiles

Do you need to prevent unauthorized access to the spiral staircase or ensure snow-free passage? Perhaps you want to camouflage the spiral staircase against the building’s facade? We have a solution for that. The safety gate can be manufactured as small as 1/4 size (economical) or adorned with special panels covering the entire spiral staircase (premium). There are many options in between, so contact us to create the right safety gate for your needs.

Perinteisesti portaat valmistetaan alusta loppuun asti kutakin tilausta varten. Modulaarisuus tarkoittaa sitä, että valmistamme tiettyjä eri tuotteisiin sopivia osia etukäteen.

Asiakkaalle räätälöitäviä osia on siis entistä vähemmän, ja voimme käyttää mittojen mukaan suunniteltujen portaiden valmistuksessa varastossamme valmiina olevia komponentteja.

Mitä hyötyä modulaarisuudesta on?

Modulaarisuus on kustannustehokasta, sillä se nopeuttaa ja helpottaa suunnittelua, tuotantoa ja asennusta.

Modulaarisuuden ansiosta saat asiakkaana portaat nopeasti. Nopeimmillaan aiemmin kahdeksan viikkoa vienyt toimitus tapahtuu nyt viikossa.

LK Porras Oy manufactures, supplies, and installs spiral and straight steel staircases, along with related structures for the industrial sector and builders. Our products are made in Leppävirta, North Savo, where our family business was established in 1974.
